Exterior
The refreshed KIA K5 has a dynamic external appearance with significant contouring around the bumper, grille, its rear spoilers. Radiator slats on the side have a chrome meshwork and are linked with LED headlamps on their sides that have daytime running lights, and the front bumper has air curtain intakes below it. Front fog lights also are provided to help drivers in inclement weather. The rear end has beautiful LED lights that shine instantly, a rear diffuser, and an exhaust trail that is wonderfully created with Kia mono imprinted on both the front and back. Alloy wheels are larger in size and feature better designs that are both bold and elegant.
Interior
The inside of the K5 is stunning for the price. The cabin is decorated with appealing materials like wood trim on the dash and doors, and the arrangement is stylish and straightforward. The inside of the K5 is likewise upmarket, with ambient interior lighting on the life and doors, a heated & ventilated front seat, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charging pad. While even at its lowest setting, the driver’s seat seems high, the comfy location for the left foot & floor-hinged accelerator were excellent extras. The rear seat offers lots of legroom, and the trunk provides ample storage capacity. We squeezed seven carry-on bags back there.
KIA K5 2023 Engine
The KIA K5 comes with three gasoline engine options: a 1.6-liter turbo engine, a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, a hybrid petrol engine, and a 2.4-liter petrol engine. The LX, S, and Special Edition grades are fueled by a 2.4-liter 4 engine that generates 185 hp and 311 pounds-feet of torque. The Ex and EX premium trims are driven by 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engines with 178 hp, while the SX trim is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower. The EX and EX Premium trims come with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the rest of the trims come with a six-speed automatic transmission. In some locations, the Optima hybrid powertrain is also available, which combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a lithium-ion battery.
